Lisa Lachapelle dit Langlois
spiritualist & composer of words
At times when souls greet it is only for that reason, to say hello then good-bye ...and hello again. Greetings
"The only other experience I had with the subject of your book was watching the TV show "Medium." Your writing is similar to James Joyce's in that like Mr. Joyce (who I consider the most important writer of the 20th century) you both write in a style called "stream of consciousness." In all honesty, I picked-up your book in the hope of getting back some "religion." Your book was a first but major step in that direction. At times while reading it I felt as though I was experiencing "God" for the first time in a long time. Thank You." J.Scuito

Thy Wings
No daylight fold thy wings
To see what Heaven brings
No night's sky in dark good-bye
Perfect in rhythm
Minds triumph as they should
Peaceful is harmony at the half-way lit
Solemn in trust bear no mark
Au beauteous moment
How I wish I could sing to thee
And restore the depleted
Never defeated ...

The Light In You Review:
5 stars
A journey into the soul.Reviewed in the United States on June 25, 2026.
Paperback
"There is an old saying that a life unexamined is one not worth living, and another that a faith untested cannot be trusted. This book is exactly this: an examination, or perhaps journey, of life and faith; an exploration of the soul and meaning.
Whether a person agrees with any or some of the deep, philosophical/faith presented in Lisa Lachapelle's work, it is nonetheless a fascinating journey that might help or bring to question any personal journey of faith and understanding. What is the soul? What is its meaning?
Lachapelle's work is wondrously poetic in both thought and prose. A marvelous read. Though it is more appropriate to say that this book is a study, than a "read," beautifully written and thought out, containing solid truths. One that I share with you, if I'm allowed to quote, is: "If we want to be observers in life we need to recognize the higher power or there is no moving forward. Compassion, forgiveness, giving, and love are aptitudes for every human being. There is a fortitude in knowing that." And if I might also quote: "God loves us, we are His creation. A human born is a product of light and can be a disciple of God. Considering yourself as a student of life is a step, acceptance..."
I do not recommend this work lightly, but recommend it with full thoughtfulness, encouraging contemplation."

"...your beautiful poem, it flows so nicely." J Christiansen
"Such a beautiful poem with an interesting idea and message." J. Mason
"It's a book that weaves personal transformation with otherworldly encounters, presenting spiritual lessons wrapped in the framework of narrative storytelling....The book's strongest element is it's raw emotional depth...The way spirituality is explained here is less about doctrine and more about personal experience, which makes it engaging for those who have ever questioned the nature of existence or had an unexplained experience of their own...One thing that stands out is the book's poetic and philosophical writing style...it dances, it drifts, it spirals into deep thought. Small Tales and Visits to Heaven is a fascinating and thought provoking read."

Ten Years of Bliss
Winner of Literary Titan Gold Award
..."Poems like “Greet the Morning” or “The Majesty of Trees” feel rooted in the earth yet always reaching skyward. There’s a humbling beauty in her spiritual reverence, but it never gets self-important. It’s earnest, raw, and sometimes cryptic. The book doesn’t just present poetry; it invites quiet reflection."
